Pacific Climbing Series 2026 Announcement

We are excited to announce that the Pacific Climbing Series will once again be returning to Southern California for the 2026 Spring Climbing Season!

Our goal remains to increase access to youth climbing competitions, whether through frequency of competition weekends or an easy-to-digest event structure and environment. As always, this competition series continues to run with athletes, families, and the community in mind, and we appreciate your continued support as we head into our 4th season!

Spring 2026 Competition Schedule

March 14th - Sender One SNA Training Center - Santa Ana, CA

March 21st - Mesa Rim Academy - San Diego, CA

April 18th - Sender One Lakewood - Lakewood, CA

**May 9th - Mesa Rim Academy - San Diego, CA

** Denotes Championship Event

Competition Format & Pricing

Price: $80 per participant ($105 late registration fee during week prior to competition)

Format: PCS Modified Redpoint

  • 3-hour redpoint round with a max of 7 attempts per boulder

  • After successfully topping a boulder, athletes have one additional attempt to repeat any previously completed boulder for extra points

  • Two-zone scoring system:

    • Low Zone = 5 Points

    • High Zone = 10 Points

    • Top = 25 Points

    • Bonus Attempt after first top = 10 Points for Top Only

    • Falls = -0.1 Point per fall
