Pacific Climbing Series 2025 Announcement

We are excited to announce that the Pacific Climbing Series will once again be returning to Southern California for the 2025 Fall Climbing Season!

Our goal remains to increase access to youth climbing competitions, whether through frequency of competition weekends or an easy-to-digest event structure and environment. As always, this competition series continues to run with athletes, families, and the community in mind, and we appreciate your continued support as we head into our 3rd season! We are excited to welcome Long Beach Rising into the Pacific Climbing Series circuit, as well as welcoming back Touchstone into the rotation.

Fall 2025 Competition Schedule

September 13th - Mesa Rim Academy - San Diego, CA

September 27th - Sender One SNA Training Center - Santa Ana, CA

October 11th - Flowstone Climbing - Redlands, CA

November 8th - Long Beach Rising - Long Beach, CA

November 15th - Class 5 - Torrance, CA

**December 6th - Sender One Lakewood - Lakewood, CA

Competition Format & Pricing

Price: $80 per participant ($105 late registration fee during week prior to competition)

Format: PCS Modified Redpoint

• 3-hour redpoint round with a max of 7 attempts per boulder

• After successfully topping a boulder, athletes have one additional attempt to repeat any previously completed boulder for extra points

• Two-zone scoring system:

  • Low Zone = 5 Points

  • High Zone = 10 Points

  • Top = 25 Points

  • Bonus Attempt after first top = 10 Points for Top Only

  • Falls = -0.1 Point per fall
